Best place in LV to get a banh mi! Super quick! People are always friendly and they also accept credit cards now ($10 minimum)!

I also love their banh cuon and shrimp toast!
Definitely do not skip on those if you have to chance to get them.

This is definitely a to-go type spot but there are a couple of tables inside!

If you're craving a banh mi in LV, Dakao is the place to go!

Best bang for you buck for a delicious banh mi (Vietnamese sandwich) in Vegas! I've tried many banh mi shops around town and this place has the biggest size. It's also stacked with a lot veggies and meats. The bread is toasted with that flaky crunch on the outside and soft in the inside.

They usually have the special where you buy 5 and get 1 free! Besides the banh mi, they have other items as well. I've had their banh uot (Vietnamese thin steam riced rolls) as well and it was delicious.

The service is fast since it's a Deli and you can even call in for your order. If you're craving for a good size Vietnamese sandwich then give this place a try!

    GETTING OLDER TOGETHER

Anyone who has eaten a bahn mi in this valley will eventually come right back to Dakao. A popular So-Cal Vietnamese sandwich chain; a national franchised sub shops; and other Vietnamese restaurants fall short of replicating Dakao's sandwiches.

Seems like I've been coming here since their beginings which is going on 13 years. The wife always remembers me.

The only two things that have changed over the years is that we're getting older and the prices go up. LoL

This is my favorite place to get all my vietnamese snacks and food to go. They make their che each day and they sell out by later afternoon. Their banh is good. I usually get Number 1 Banh Mi Dac Biet.

What is not to love about a tasty Banh Mi at an incredible price.  It is a small shop with a few tables but don't let that discourage you.  This place rocks some very good Banh Mi sandwiches.  We tried the Beefsteak, Grilled Pork, House Special and Meat Ball.  The favorite was the Grilled Pork with the House Special a close second.
The jalapenos are on the hot side so be aware if you don't like them that way.  They can be hidden among the meat and veggies and can be a wild surprise.  If in the area and in need of a tasty snack or meal they are well worth the stop.
